Howdy!

My name is Lindsey Heise and I am in my seventh year of education. I grew up in Troy, TX and then attended Texas A&M University in College Station. I am a Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2016 (WHOOP!). I received my Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Education. From there, I started my career at Academy ISD as an Agricultural Science teacher and FFA Advisor for six years. A few years ago, I knew I wanted to reach my students at a deeper level and this is when I decided to pursue my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. I am excited about starting my counseling career here in Salado.

The most important part of my life is my family. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Michael. We have one daughter, Hayes Ann and a baby boy that will be here in October! We spend most of our family time together on our ranch in Westphalia where we run a registered Black Angus cattle operation. Although it sounds like work, we thoroughly enjoy our weekends on the farm and raising our children to understand the importance of agriculture and hard work.
